Krist Adams is a graphic designer, digital media creator, but most importantly, preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
After graduating high school, I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I obtained my Bachelor's in Electronic Media Communication. After graduating from MTSU, I spent three months in Arequipa, Peru working at a TV station and teaching classes at one of the Christian schools. After returning from Peru, I moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to attend RHEMA Bible Training Center, where I graduated in 2007. Since then, I have worked as Director of Media, Communication, and Technology for a itinerant minister.
Since 2005 I’ve been working full-time doing something media related. Since then I’ve expanded to doing almost anything in media – print design, apparel design, web design, video and audio, production and editing, social media management, and photography. I’ve worked with companies small and large, churches and ministries, and individuals as a part-time freelance digital media creator. I work in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, and numerous other pieces of software.
It is clear that you can have church without God (Psalm 127:1), however, in the end, it is all in vain and will not stand. Make sure what you are doing is being done according to the Word of God and the Spirit of God, not the plans of men.- Krist Adams
When non-believers go to church, they should feel welcomed, but they should also feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit. If the church is trying to be just like the world to win the world, then it is going to fall into the same sin that the world has fallen into.- Krist Adams
People in church tech have had the occasional discussion of whether or not it's appropriate to live tweet during church. In my humble opinion, it's hard to live tweet anything when you're so immersed in the presence of God during church.- Krist Adams
It's much easier to follow God's plan that is already blessed, than to ask God to bless your plan. Success is found in following God's plan, not our own. - Krist Adams
